I’d try Volker Eisle’s Gemini (sauvignon blanc/semillon blend from Napa) — Volker was told, in the 60’s, that it was “impossible to grow good grapes without chemicals,” in his words… but this wine is made without any pesticides or fertilizers. A rebel in the wine world, at the time!
Same goes for Sobon Roussanne — Organic, despite pressure to not be, and an “unusual” varietal (in California) to boot! Not only that, but the Sobon Estate is not only carbon-neutral, but in fact carbon-negative; they remove more carbon from the atmosphere than they produce during the winemaking process!
